Our quick guide to digital print:
HP Indigo digital print quality
We use market-leading digital print processes that are miles ahead in quality, intelligent automation and media versatility, to reach the highest levels of productivity and the widest range of digital applications. Our digital prints boast superior smoothness and sharpness, matching or even exceeding offset quality.
Print size & capabilities
Our digital press prints sheets up to 330mm x 480mm. It is loaded permanently with digital white ink and an on-board priming ink station, this allows fast turnaround on a huge range of materials available via our paper merchant partners.
If a larger sheet size is required, we can also offer HP Indigo digital printing on sheet sizes up-to B2 (740mm x 520mm). The larger size offers much greater flexibility for shorter runs, along with the paper-saving benefits for items such as 6PP A4 leaflets, A4 landscape booklets, pocket folders and many more packaging and presentation products.
HP Indigo Digital white ink
HP Indigo ElectroInk White on transparencies, dark and metallic substrates deliver a high-impact result for invitations, greeting cards, books, reports and brochure covers. Printable in single hit or multiple hits to create subtle design effects not achievable with other digital printing processes.
Pantone colours are available through digital printing with the exception of metallic and neon although there are four specific neon shades we can offer; Yellow, Orange, Green and Pink. Added to this transparent gloss and invisible UV red there a loads of options that traditional litho printing can’t offer.
We partner with a range of leading paper suppliers including Colorplan, GF Smith, Arjowiggins (Antalis), Fedrigoni, Fenner Paper, PaperBack and more. Many papers are available in small orders or split packs, providing more choice for smaller runs.
To improve response rates and maximise return on investment, we can merge text, graphics and images to provide a unique proposition for each of your clients’ requirements. We also have ‘Mosaic’ variable design technology to create unlimited designs for sophisticated, high-value products.
Our ‘One Shot’ technology extends media capabilities to special substrates including canvas, synthetic, lenticular, dark and metalised media. All colour separations are transferred to the substrate in a single pass with perfect registration.
