The information we collect

We gather client information to better understand our clients’ needs and provide the best service possible, more specifically for;

We will store all the personal information you provide on our secure, firewall protected servers. The transmission of information over the internet is not completely secure, and therefore we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over to us electronically and the transmission of such data is entirely at your own risk. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password so that you can access certain areas of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.

How long we keep your information

We will keep your personal information for as long as you are a customer of Colour Options. We will always retain your personal information in accordance with law and regulation and never retain your information for longer than is necessary. If you feel that we should no longer be holding your personal information, or that we are illegally using your data, you can request that we erase the personal information we hold on you.

Your Rights

In accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 you have the right to access any information that we hold relating to you.

You may instruct us to provide you with any personal information we hold about you.  Once we have received your request we will respond within 30 days. Provision of such information may be subject to:

(a) the payment of a fee which covers our costs in providing you with the information required (currently fixed at £10.00); and

(b) the supply of appropriate evidence of your identity.

You may instruct us not to process your personal information for marketing purposes by email at ay time. In practice, you will usually either expressly agree in advance to our use of your personal information for marketing purposes, or we will provide you with an opportunity to opt-out of the use of your personal information for marketing purposes.
